Belt weighing inaccurate reasons



Belt scales are widely used weighing equipment. Coal mine, electricity, building materials, food and other industries can get the belt scale.

As the use of belt scale environment is more complex, so the accuracy of the error is inevitable.

So, what factors will affect the accuracy of the belt scale?

1.the installation is not solid

If the scale rack is not firmly mounted, the belt conveyor support will vibrate during operation. Then affect the signal output of the load cell, measurement error is inevitable.

2.the roller distance is small

If the distance between the roller and scale rack of the device is too small, the signal output of the load cell will be affected. The resulting weighing signal output will make the measurement result larger.

3.Electromagnetic interference

Belt weighers work in a harsh environment and usually have magnetic interference. Electromagnetic interference generally weakens the weighing signal, resulting in inaccurate metering.

Finally, there are some details that may take into account, such as: whether the instrument is damaged, whether the weighing roller is leveled, and whether the belt tension is too large, etc., will all affect the weighing accuracy of the belt scale.
